George and his wife Beverly live in Dallas. George began collecting early Texas art in 1995. A year later he founded the Texas Art Collectors Organization (TACO) primarily as a means to connect with other collectors in the North Texas area. He also currently serves on the TACO Board. 

George previously served on the CASETA Board from 2007 - 2015. In 2017 he was honored to receive CASETA’s Lifetime Achievement Award. George retired in 2014 after working for over 30 years in the commercial lighting industry. The last fifteen years as president of Hossley Lighting Associates in Dallas.
