Lynn Castle currently is Executive Director of the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, a position she has held since 2000. Previously she worked in different capacities within the organization, as Interim Director, Curator of Exhibitions and Collections, and Registrar, demonstrating her dedication and commitment to the museum through service for more than 30 years. Ms. Castle has overseen general operations of the museum, researched and developed exhibitions, organized interpretive programs, and produced publications. In addition, she has solicited and secured funding from corporations, individuals, and grant funding agencies. She also is a member of the American Association of Museums, the Texas Association of Museums, and the Downtown Beaumont Cultural Arts District and is a recent past president of the Rotary Club of Beaumont. Ms. Castle holds a B.A. from Colorado State University, completed coursework at the American Institution of European Studies, and pursued graduate work with emphasis in Museum Studies at the University of Denver.
